Rayshida Marcos is the Founder, Chairwoman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Makeda Melanin Group.
Born into a respected entrepreneurial family in Curaçao, she developed an early understanding of ownership, enterprise and international opportunity. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from the University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA) and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship from SRH University.
After relocating to Belgium in 2010, she built a career in corporate leadership and strategic consultancy. Before establishing Makeda Melanin Group under its current name in 2025, she led projects connected to governments and recognized corporations. Her advisory experience includes work connected to the Government of the Dutch Caribbean, Staten van Curaçao, Venezuela and Ghana, as well as organizations including Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, El Consolador Funeral House and Air Liquide.
Her experience navigating public institutions and corporate environments informs MMG’s approach to government projects, strategic management, premium brands and international expansion. She is also a shareholder in RWC Cleaning Ltd. Curaçao.
Under her direction, MMG is being developed as a trusted, African-founded international group for investors, governments, partners and ambitious businesses—guided by innovation, diversity, disciplined governance and sustainable value creation.
